When
we first decided that miniature donkeys would work
for our ranch, we had no idea of what was to come!!
We had a small olive farm and everything was fenced.....why
not. We knew that they would get along with the horses(after
all Budweiser uses them as companions to their Clydesdales)
they would get use to the dogs; the chickens won't
bother them so our next decision was where to get these
little critters.
We
wanted the best pedigrees possible so we brought
stock from Tennessee, Texas, S. Carolina and Nebraska.
In that first year we added some from Canada. Good
jacks were a must since that is 50% of your herd.
With the help of many wonderful people we have
gotten just what we wanted- an excellent herd of
jennets and 3 exceptional jacks. The foals have
been beautiful, straight legs, good mouths and
friendly loving personalities. We love each and
every one of them. It is so hard to sell one but
it is all worth it as we talk to the new owners
and see how much they love mini-donks.
Like
I warn everyone who buys one, you will fall in love

animals you will every have. Oh. and they are like
